Who plays trevor in GTA 5? GTA fan begs Trevor actor Steven Ogg to swear at him, and he delivers beautifully

Who plays trevor in gta 5? Normally, if you saw a headline which claimed that a beloved actor swore or yelled at a fan, you’d be aghast. There are few things more disappointing in life than a famous face you’ve admired from afar turning out to be a rude person.

However, fear not, that’s not what this article is about. As UNILAD reports, Steven Ogg, the Canadian actor best known for his roles as Simon in The Walking Dead and Trevor Philips in GTA V once received a very strange request by a fan at a convention, who specifically wanted Ogg to swear at him.

Take a look at some of the funniest wins and fails from GTA V

This legendary moment took place during a GTA V panel at New York Comic Con 2013, just one month after the game first released. As such, Trevor was still a very new character at the time.

Ogg took very little persuading to fulfil the request – after being encouraged by the crowd’s applause, he got up from his seat at the panel, stormed over to the fan, and yelled “go f**k yourself” directly into their camera.

Obviously, as the motion capture actor, Ogg already looks like his character, but in that moment, it was genuinely like the actual Trevor had materialised in real life. Take a look below.

To this day, fans are still leaving comments on the original video, and sharing their love for the actor and his performance: “I love the fact he hesitates, notices the applause and how happy it would make everyone and then goes straight into performer mode. F***ing legend,” one YouTube user wrote.

“This was legendary. That man understood the job and absolutely went above and beyond,” commented another. “This is the closest thing to a wholesome moment the GTA community could produce,” another added.

GTA 6 is ‘worth the wait’, GTA 5 actor promises fans

There are so many incredible games set to be released in the remainder of this year. Starfield, Mortal Kombat 1, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2, Assassin’s Creed Mirage …

I could go on. Grand Theft Auto VI is a title I’m sure fans were wishing was on that roster but you know what’s coming. We still have no clue when the highly anticipated title is set to release.

It’s still total radio silence on GTA VI from Rockstar. Fans were hoping it would make an appearance at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live – and it did, in the form of a stage crashing fan though.

Rockstar confirmed they were working on the game back in February 2022, but it’s believed to have been in development for close to a decade.

Last year saw the studio targeted by a major cyber attack. The leak seemingly confirmed that the game will feature dual Bonnie and Clyde style protagonists. Both 2024 and 2025 have been thrown around as potential release windows but one GTA actor is reassuring fans that the game is “worth the wait”.

As reported by Dexerto, Ned Luke, who brought Michael De Santa to life in GTA V, shared a message with fans thanking them for their support. In the comments, one fan brought up GTA VI, writing, “That’s all we want.

All of us that are waiting for and ask about it always get backlash. [It’s] us as GTA V fans that loved the game and put so much money into it and made it so successful. We get criticised for asking for a part six [after] playing the same game for nearly 10 years.”

To this, Ned said, “Gonna be worth the wait.” It’s hard to say whether the actor actually has any intel on the next instalment or whether he’s simply just confident in what Rockstar will next bring to the table.

We’ll surely hear some GTA VI news in 2024 seeing as parent-company Take-Two Interactive have been teasing a major profitable year. Hold in there GTA fans.

GTA 6 ’12th Hour’ fan trailer absolutely blows audiences away

GTA 6 is going to be worth the wait. You know it. I know it. The only issue is that the wait is definitely starting to take its toll on fans.

Rockstar Games first announced that GTA VI was in active development back in February 2022, but since then the studio has kept things very much under wraps. The only acknowledgement we’ve had from Rockstar that the game exists since then was in its response to infamous gameplay leaks of an early build of the game from last summer.

Since Rockstar has yet to show us anything, fans have been working to imagine what GTA VI might look like. Certainly, the game’s reveal trailer stands to be one of the biggest moments of all time, simply because of how long we’ve waited to see it.

YouTube channel 12th Hour has spent a fair bit of time working on bringing a fan-made GTA VI reveal to life, and the result is a trailer that I think we all truly wish could be the real deal. I should absolutely stress, however, that it is not.

The trailer itself, which you can watch here, already has an impressive 3.1 million views. If that’s what a fan trailer can do, just imagine how hard the real thing will go.

12th Hour builds on the rumours and leaks to create a two-minute rollercoaster of action featuring all the big Grand Theft Auto lynchpins. There are explosions, robberies, car chases, and plenty of cops.

Naturally, the comments in the YouTube thread were full of praise. “OK NO JOKE THIS IS THE BEST THING I’VE EVER SEEN” wrote one excited fan who loves a capital letter.

“This was freaking amazing. If the animations were replicated to GTA V animations I’d think that was the actual trailer,” another added.

We have no idea when the actual GTA VI reveal will drop, but we’re more than happy to watch this effort on a loop till then.

GTA Trevor actor sends angry video to fan asking about GTA 6

Grand Theft Auto VI leaked? You’re joking? I hadn’t heard … I jest. It’s inescapable, isn’t it? Last month, Rockstar Games was targeted by a cyber attack that saw over an hour of GTA VI development footage leaked online alongside screenshots and source code. Since then, a UK-based teenager has appeared in court pleading “not guilty”.

We all knew that GTA VI was eventually coming, but this has certainly scuppered Rockstar’s reveal plans. Already, fans think they’ve worked out who the game’s lead actors are, plus they’re using the leaked development footage to map out GTA VI’s take on Vice City.

One veteran GTA actor seems to be fed up with GTA VI related questions though.

GTA V actor Steven Ogg, known for portraying Trevor in the franchise, has reportedly sent a Cameo to one fan which has left the fan calling his response “annoyed” and “berating”. As reported by PCGamesN, YouTuber Hugo One asked Ogg to record a message to GTA VI protagonists Jason and Lucia warning them about the dangers of Vice City.

Hugo paid $140 for the Cameo, specifically requesting Ogg tell Jason and Lucia to “be careful in Vice City” and to “watch out for the cops in Port Gellhorn.” He finished by requesting, “Tell them that ‘maybe you’ll see them out there.’ Feel free to be crazy.”

It’s quite a tall order. In his video response, Ogg said, “I’m not Trevor. My name is Steven and I’m an actor,” but did proceed to read out the requested lines. You can check out the full Cameo below.

Technically, Hugo got what he asked for albeit with a slightly different tone. “He seemed a little bit annoyed about me asking him to be Trevor again, rather than Steven Ogg.

I thought he came off like quite the d**k, to be honest,” Hugo said, “I requested that he be this character that he’s famous for and talk about the world that that character lives in, and he took at as some kind of insult to him as an actor, and I thought that was a little unnecessary to spend a couple of minutes berating me for asking him to be Trevor instead of being himself.

I thought that’s what Cameo was for. I thought that was why I paid all this money.” Bit awkward.

GTA 6 map concept merges all cities into one massive open world

GTA VI is shaping up to be one of the biggest video games of all time, and fans are desperate to see what Rockstar’s next open-world map has in store for us.

When you consider the scope and scale of Red Dead Redemption 2’s open-world, the mind boggles at the thought of GTA VI.

GTA V’s Los Santos was, and still is, a huge and gorgeous world, but I think it’s fair to say after nearly ten years fans have had their fill and are craving a new virtual playground. While most reports based on recent leaks suggest GTA VI will be set mostly in Los Santos, many fans crave an adventure that connects all of the previous major locations into something larger.

Over on Reddit, it’s not uncommon for fans to create their own concept maps that combine the likes of Vice City, Los Santos, and Liberty City together. A good number of these are genuinely incredible, even it’s highly unlikely Rockstar would ever make a map that big a reality.

Just take a look at the concept map below. Can you imagine having to drive, or even fly, across this beast to get from Vice city to Liberty City? Although, as others have pointed out, it would definitely give flying vehicles more of a purpose.

It’s looking more and more likely that GTA VI will be arriving by March 2025, so hopefully there’s not much longer to wait. Just don’t get your hopes up for a map quite this big, as most reports agree the focus is on Vice City.

That’s not to say Rockstar can’t eventually expand the world with post-launch updates, of course. If there’s any game out there that I think we all know is going to do well enough to justify post-release support, it’s GTA VI.
