According to Twitter leakers DBS Chronicles, DBSHype, and SLOPlays, Dragon Ball Super Season 2 production is already underway and will be released by the end of 2023. Moreover, according to Twitter leaker SupaChronicles, Akira Toriyama, the creator of the original Dragon Ball manga is part of the creative team for Season 2.

According to staff, apparently so. A member of Toei Animation Philippines, Florence Jay Dominguito, spoke about the future of Super in an interview for the official Dragon Ball website.
“As a fan, I’m really looking forward to new movies and merchandise. I’m also excited about the new anime that will continue Dragon Ball Super,” they admitted.
However, some people have noted that may have been a slight error in translation, like Japanese translator Ken Xyro did on Twitter (now X).
What Dominguito actually said was “I’m also excited to see if there will be a new continuation of Dragon Ball Super’ TV anime.”

When can we expect Dragon Ball Super season 2 news?
The widespread speculation is that we can expect an announcement, or possibly even a release, in the latter half of 2023.
Leakers claim production is already underway, and that the original creator, Toriyama, is on board.
The leakers are highly credited for nailing the news on the head, but it’s best to take things with a pinch of salt until we have an official source.
Fans believe that an announcement for Dragon Ball Super season 2 may be coming sometime in November 2023, to coincide with Dragon Ball’s 39th anniversary on 20th November.
However, there’s also a chance that Toei Animation are waiting for One Punch Man season 3 to finish, meaning a second potential announcement window could be Q2 2024.
However, on 8th September, the official Dragon Ball X account hinted at “a mysterious new teaser” being shown exclusively at New York Comic Con on 12th October – could this finally be the end to endless fan speculation, and our first look at Dragon Ball Super season 2? Only time will tell.
It’s worth noting that nearly every company involved in Dragon Ball including Toei Animation, Dokkan Battle, Super Dragon Ball Heroes and DB Games retweeted the initial announcement, so it’s clearly something big (or Super?).
