Throughout the day, Galarian Zigzagoon will appear more frequently in the wild. If you’re lucky, you might even find a Shiny one! Plus, if you evolve Galarian Linoone (Galarian Zigzagoon’s Evolution) into Obstagoon during the event or up to five hours afterward, that Obstagoon will know Obstruct—a Dark-type Charged Attack making its Pokémon GO debut!

August Community Day will also feature additional bonuses, offering plenty of incentives to power up Obstagoon—a popular choice in the GO Battle League’s Great League and Ultra League—and see for yourself how well the Blocking Pokémon obstructs its opponents.

Incense and Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours, and you’ll earn three times the Stardust and twice as much XP and Candy for catching Pokémon.

You’ll also receive twice as much Candy for transferring Pokémon. Plus, you’ll have double the chance of getting Zigzagoon Candy XL when you catch Galarian Zigzagoon.

Find a buddy to trade with before the event ends to take advantage of special event trade bonuses. Trainers can make two additional Special Trades during the event for a maximum of four Special Trades per day.

Better still, any trades made during the event cost 75% less Stardust, making it the perfect time to coordinate Special Trades with a high Stardust cost.
