To top it off, this is also a prime spot for EV training as when a Pokémon is called, the Effort Value yield is doubled. This means that with PokéRus and Power Items, you can fully train a stat in just 7 KOs!
Use PokéBeans in Poké Pelago
When you’ve unlocked Poké Pelago, you can choose a group of six Pokémon to EV train there. The higher the island level, the more groups of Pokémon you can have training. Using PokéBeans will double the EV’s gained, which will half your time training if working to max out a stat. There’s also an area to hunt for items such as Evolution Stones and you can passively hatch Eggs in an area called Isle Avue.

A helpful new feature for Pokémon Sun/Moon is the ability to see if a move you are using will be effective against the opponent Pokémon.
When you first encounter a new Pokémon species you won’t be able to see what moves are best to use against it, but when you defeat it, you’ll be able to see the information next time you come across the species.

If you have a Pokémon that your friend is struggling to find, you can share the Pokémon’s QR code with them from their Pokédex page. This will register the Pokémon as ‘seen’ on your friend’s Pokédex.
There are also QR codes for different forms and shiny Pokémon – scanning these will register that appearance in the Pokédex, too. However there are some Pokémon like Legendaries that aren’t available through QR code sharing. When you have scanned QR codes to get 100 points, then you can run an Island Scan which lets you find rare Pokémon including Chikorita and Samurott.
