You should know that you might not be able to use the Minifigure Factory quite yet; Lego says the site has “limited availability.” (I personally had access for a bit while writing this post, but now I don’t.) How much does it cost to make your own minifig?

Each customized minifigure costs $11.99. During the initial run of the Lego Minifigure Factory, customers were only allowed to order one per household.

Why aren’t there more minifigure pieces to choose from?

The two main characters in this story, Bill and Mary, are not available in any of the major LEGO digital design software packages, such as LEGO Digital Designer, Stud.io or Mecabricks.
